Ms. Arita Kashyap Bhowmick is an established Fashion Designer from North East who has her label Doyna set up in Tezpur and Guwahati. Arita has participated in various national and International fashion events like the North East festivals in Delhi, Rongali Festivals in Guwahati, Celebrating North East Festivals in Delhi, also being a prominent designer for fashion shows in Dubai, London, and South Africa and most recently geared up with her design for Femina Miss India 2016. Arita is a specialized silk designer as her work is based on authentic pure silk like Eri, Muga, Mulberry and Tassar; whose main concept is to showcase the Mekhela Chador into an unique wear so that it could be worn universally with pride and as one of the most desired wear from Assam.
