Dr. Priyanka Sarkar

Representing Eastern region of India; Dr. Priyanka Sarkar is a Doctorate in Biosciences with over 10 years of work experience in diversified segments of Agriculture and Bioscience domains. She has published over 10 publications in international and national journals of life science and agriculture. She had also got Young Scientist award by Indian Science Congress Association, Bhopal Chapter in 2009 and 25th Young Scientist Award M.P Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal in 2010. She has previously been associated with National Agriculture Innovative Projects of ICAR, Krishi Bhawan-II, New Delhi and Public Health Foundation of India in various capacities in the past.

Her experience with PHFI (Public Health Foundation of India) as state monitoring and evaluation officer with NACO Project for the study of Partnership: Impact through Prevention, Private Sector and Evidence-based Programming (PIPPSE) helped her to study the impact of project implementation to district level.

She was also associated with Indian Council of Food and Agriculture as Head Program and Policy Affairs in advocating various verticals for Agriculture, for taking up all the coordination with International and National linkages with various sectors of Agricultural inputs related spaces based in New Delhi.

Currently she is associated with TQ Cert Services Private Limited India Private Limited) TATA PROJECTS LIMITED, as reviewer and Evaluator for Organic Certification and for various schemes.

She has voluntary worked with Non-Profit Organization as Sr. Team Member, Programs (Delhi) in Natural resource management and with Give India Foundation as Sales Executive – Payroll Giving (Delhi).
