Dr. Dibbyaraj Choudhury

Dr. Choudhury (Don), a dental implant surgeon by profession, has been associated with tourism in Northeast India since 2006. Born and brought up in Meghalaya his initial years were spent exploring the natural beauty of the state. Through extensive touring he realised the potential of the north eastern states whilst building long lasting and formative relationships with the locals. This in turn helped him in forming collaborative events with the same people through equal partnership opportunities. During this time he was associated and working with a number of tourism providers as a free lancer thus gaining insight into the tourism providers perspective. He shifted base in Guwahati and formally launched his own company CampX with a team of professionals hailing from varied backgrounds such as athelets, software engineers, asset managers from financial services, etc. The core philosophy of CampX is to introduce North east to visitors in a way that they can witness the natural beauty of the region along with its diverse culture whilst respecting the prevelant ecosystem of the place. Economic upliftment of the local community through equal partnership has been the continuous underlying theme for the company since its inception
